Tower crane needs frequent starting and braking in the working process,and the turntable is strongly impacted and vibrated.After damage,it is necessary to help find out the causes with the help of finite element calculation.At present,the engineer first designs the turntable according to the experience,and then verifies it by finite element calculation.A large number of finite element calculations are needed in the design of the turntable,while the finite element modeling process of the turntable is tedious and takes a lot of time.In order to improve the efficiency of finite element modeling of turntable and reduce the difficulty of modeling,a parametric design system based on ABAQUS general finite element analysis software platform is developed by using Python programming language,taking the turntable of serialized tower crane in Changsha as the research object.The main research work of this paper is as follows:This paper deeply studies ABAQUS software,object-oriented programming of ABAQUS script kernel language Python,Object-oriented programming of Python,ABAQUS secondary development interface,the way and method to realize the secondary development of ABAQUS,user-defined GUI application development mode,etc.It lays a foundation for the subsequent development of the parametric design system of tower crane turntable.In order to make the turntable model universal,a large number of tower crane turntable structures are studied,and a series of chemical tower crane turntable models are extracted according to the needs of the company's future development models.The structure and parametric object of the parametric design system for tower crane turntable are determined,and the functions of the system are described.Taking the turntable model of series tower crane as the research object,the finite element software of ABAQUS is secondary developed by script kernel language Python,and a set of parametric design system of tower crane turntable with friendly interface and easy to understand is developed.The functions of parametric modeling,finite element analysis and derived analysis report of serialized tower crane model are realizedTaking the turntable of TC7020 tower crane as an example,the finite element modeling of the turntable is studied and analyzed,including the simplification of the model,the grid division method,the load and the boundary condition,etc.,and the reliability of the finite element modeling process is verified by experiments.Finally,the finite element analysis of the turntable of the tower crane is realized by using the parametric design system of the tower crane turntable,and the efficiency and simplicity of the software are verified.The research work and method of this paper can effectively reduce the labor intensity of designers and improve the efficiency.The analysis results can guide the design and research and development of tower crane turntable.At present,the parametric design platform has been put into use by the company.
