Bridge structure mechanics analysis and CAD drawing are important parts in thedesign and construction. When simulating and analyzing, most of the availablebridge finite software using beam element cannot simulate the torsion and bendingof entity components, unable to analysis the stress and strain of beam sections.Due to the lacking of professionalism, we find that it's inconvenient and tediouswhile using general finite element software, such as ANSYS or ABAQUS, to model entity components of a bridge. Time-consuming is the biggest problem in drawing. There are some software in bridge drawing, such as bridge master, bridgedesigners and so on. However, commercial software has its own insufficient. Forexample, it's inflexible and complicated. And the drawing style doesnot fit all the design institutes.To solve the problem of lacking of professionalism in entity modeling of a bridge, we developed a parameterized plugin for box-like reinforced concrete bridges, which is aiming at the box section in municipal bridges. And it's all basedonthe redevelopment function of Python language and ABAQUS. The plugin is suitable for many kinds of parameterized entity modeling, from single box to boxswith the same height or changing height, the same width or changing widthand soon. It has solved the trouble of fallibility and tediousness in manual operation. And it has raised the modeling speed of box girder entity and reduced thedifficulty in understanding by using ABAQUS to analysis box girder bridges.Making use of the Lisp language to redevelop CAD, we can get the generalstructure maps, common reinforcement drawings( including reinforcing steel bar quantity statistics) and the prestressing tendons figure in parametric intelligent drawing of the box girders. The figures have the following advantages. Firstly, theyareefficient and intelligent. The figures are in accordance with the data which isinput before. Secondly, they are flexible and semi-automatic. Thirdly, the drawings are neat and normative.
