Model simulation technology has gradually replaced the physical prototype test as the main tool in the field of vehicle passive safety research.Researchers have developed various simulation models to simulate dynamic systems.Before these models were used,how to verify it effectively has always been a difficult problem in this field.Aiming at some problems existing in the validation of simulation model of dynamic systems,this paper proposes two effective methods of model validation,and develops an assistant validation tool based on these two methods.Thus,the validation process of simulation model of dynamic system is automated,and the validation efficiency is greatly improved.The main contents of this paper are as follows:Firstly,research on the method of single response analysis.On the basis of analyzing and summarizing the traditional model validation method,this paper presents a new validation method(Single Response Analysis,SRA).It can not only comprehensively analyze the curve characteristic difference among the output responses of dynamic systems,but also meet the needs of different engineering applications.The proposed SRA method is verified by two examples.The results show that the proposed method is superior to the EEARTH method and the EARTH method.Secondly,research on the method of multivariate response analysis.In order to solve the problem of strong correlation between the output responses of dynamic systems,this paper based on the principal component analysis method and the error rating part of the SRA method.A new method(MRA,Multivariate Responses Analysis)is proposed to analyze the characteristic differences of curves among the output responses of dynamic systems,which can solve the problem of correlation between output responses.The proposed MRA method is verified by two examples.The results show that this method can effectively reduce the dimension of multivariate data.Thirdly,development of dynamic system model validation tool.Based on the theoretical research results of SRA method and MRA method,an assistant validation tool is developed by using MATLAB platform.Thus,the automation of the simulation model validation process is realized.Finally,application of dynamic system model validation tool.In the process of collision deformation,the energy absorber unit of the steerable cushion extrudes the corrugated plates on both sides,which results in the secondary damage caused by the scattering of the corrugated plates.A "H" type energy absorbing unit configuration is proposed,and the verification of the model is completed with the aid of an auxiliary verification tool,which illustrates the practicability of the research content in this paper.
