308,000DWT crude oil tanker have the same electrical characteristics of other type ship,such as the station capacity is small compare with the land electrical station,use multiple generators running in parallel to satisfy the power requirement of serious operational condition,the enclosure of equipment should take focused consideration because of the bad environment,the short-circuit current is big as the cable length is short.At the same time,308,000DWT crude oil tanker have more complicated construction,and have cargo oil turbine systems and more equipments,more power will be required for the power station,dangerous area should be taken into consideration when locating and designing equipment and power system,the systems&equipments safety and reliability are especially important.In order to ensure the rational,practicability and standardization of the technical performance index of the power system,the design and application research of the power system is especially important.This article starts from the domestic and foreign research present situation,firstly,analyze the characteristics of power system of the 308,OOODWT crude oil tanker,then,according to the typical working conditions of VLCC,the load of the ship power system is calculated,and then the main generator is selected according to the actual load of the power system.Based on the analysis of the structure and equipment layout of the ship,mixed branch and meshed power distribution method will be used.Based on the short circuit calculation method reco:mmended by CCS,the breaking capacity level of ACB and MCCB are determined,the other power system equipment and protection equipment are selected.Finally,the sequential starting,emergency stop,priority tripping and heavy load inquiry are studied and designed.The scheme of the article is verified by the actual ship,all kinds of equipments have stable operation,the design is reasonable,satisfy with the specification and class society requirement,obtain the approval of ship owner and class inspector.The date of this article are all from a 308,000DWT crude oil tanker.The design process,the calculation and design of the key parameters mentioned in the article are reasonable and practical,it has great reference and research value for the design of similar ship power system.
