At present,the arrival and departure procedures of civil airports in China,with the increase of air routes,adjustment of airspace,and increase of air traffic flow,most terminal areas have optimized requirements for arrival and departure.The basis for optimizing the arrival and departure procedures in the terminal area is terrain restrictions,no-fly zone restrictions,and route direction restrictions.In this study,the complicated approach procedures are simplified to the optimization of simple arrival and departure routes for small and medium-sized airports as the arrival point.Matlab software simulates the terminal airspace of certain small and medium airports,and uses ant colony algorithm to optimize the entry and exit procedures of traditional procedures and PBN procedures.The main work of this research has three aspects: simulation of terminal airspace of specific airports,generation of traditional procedural departure and departure routes and PBN departure and departure routes based on terrain simulation,and optimization evaluation of newly generated routes and unoptimized routes.Firstly,analyze the characteristics of civil airport arrival and departure routes,and summarize the general navigation facilities layout,flight flow characteristics,and route setting requirements of small and medium airports,and determine the route optimization principles and Directions and indicators for optimal evaluation.Then simulate the airspace of the terminal area of the airport,use Matlab to turn the software into 3D rendering of the terrain,and use the principle of cellular automata to rasterize the terrain.The outside area is regarded as the feasible region.Based on the terrain processing,the ant colony algorithm is used to add the starting point coordinates of the approach or departure routes one by one,and search for the shortest route within the feasible region to form a network of arrival and departure routes.Perform linear pre-processing on the optimized departure and departure network,and finally form a terminal area departure and departure route network.Evaluate the optimized utilization of the departure and departure route network by evaluating indicators such as route utilization and route cost.The flight procedure optimization project of Aksu Airport is taken as a case.According to the above research methods,the approach and departure procedures of Aksu Airport are simulated and optimized,and the optimized procedures are evaluated and optimized in terms of route utilization and route costs.The results show that the optimized Aksu approach procedure has a lot in common with the results of manual design.This study can provide reliable design ideas for the optimization design of the approach and departure procedures of small and medium airports,thereby reducing the workload and improving the work efficiency.
