Thunderbolt is a natural discharge of phenomenon,often accompanied by lightning and thunder.Under normal circumstances lightning and thunder happen simultaneously,so it is also called lightning and thuner Thunderclouds and lightning can produce a very strong discharge phenomenon with people,objects,and buildings that come into contact with prominent.This discharge process is very harmful to people,things and buildings under the thunderclouds.Although lightning disaster is a small probability event,the loss of life and property is considerable,especially in southern China where lightning disaster accidents are of common occurrence.To avoid or reduce the harm of lightning,on the one hand,it is necessary to strengthen lightning monitoring and early warning,and on the other hand,making the feasibility study of project area construction and lightning disaster risk assessment,so as to confirm the high-risk areas that are vulnerable to lightning attack.However,the high-rise buildings being struck by lightning is higher than that of other buildings.Lightning will cause damage to high-rise buildings,electric power,electric appliance,telecommunications facilities and equipment,and even cause casualties.Therefore,it is significant to build reasonable lightning protection facilities to protect the safety of buildings,electrical appliances and various facilities and equipment from the perspective of disaster prevention and avoidance.Taking Guomao Tianfeng community as an example,this paper introduces the necessity of lightning risk assessment of high-rise residential buildings through the collection and analysis of the community’s geographical location,environmental factors,climate data,and original data,and the characteristics analysis of thunderstorm days and the time and space distribution of thunderstorm activity of the project location,which provide foundations to achieve the comprehensive lightning protection design of the whole project.Firstly,the background and significance of lightning research are introduced,and the knowledge of lightning activities and lightning disaster is introduced to bring people’s attention to the lightning protection.Then,according to the collection of the project data,soil resistivity test and the determination of thunderstorm days,the paper makes specific analysis of the special requirements of lightning protection design of construction projects,and makes comprehensive analysis and summary systematicly of the lightning protection classification,lightning risk assessment,confirmation of thunderstorm days,lightning protection downlead Settings,curtain wall side stroke lightning protection,lightning protection equipotential connection,strong and weak current system,integrated wiring of the strong and weak current,the influence of lightning field to the intelligent weak current system equipment,the application of intelligent surge protector,soil resistivity testing and grounding system design;Finally,based on the data analysis results,the paper studies the lightning strike risk of construction projects and proposes specific solutions to provide a favorable example for the lightning strike risk assessment of high-rise residential buildings. |
