In recent years, with the rapid development of economy and society, the construction of water related projects is strengthened. The construction of ports, wharves, bridges, pumping stations, sluices and other projects creates a more efficient and efficient traffic environment, ensures the safety of production and living water, flood and drought prevention, provides a basic guarantee for the high-quality development of economy and society, and also provides a stable and feasible river situation of natural rivers and lakes Flood safety, water management and other aspects have had a certain impact. Therefore,it is necessary to analyze the impact of flood control on the construction of water related projects. The analysis and research results have direct guiding significance for the actual project construction and management.Taking the pontoon Floating Wharf Project in Baimao estuary of Changshu as an example, based on the research results of flood control impact at home and abroad, this paper studies the impact of wharf construction on river regime change, flood discharge and surrounding facilities by using the methods of river evolution analysis, numerical simulation calculation and comprehensive impact analysis. The main achievements are as follows:(1)By using the method of river regime analysis, the paper analyzes the river bed evolution and the law of erosion and deposition from the historical and recent dimensions of the river reach where the wharf project is located, and predicts the trend of river regime evolution. The analysis of river course evolution shows that the river course where the wharf works is located has been relatively stable for many years, the riverbed in the near shore waters has been in a state of scouring, and the water depth conditions are gradually improving, which creates favorable conditions for the construction and operation of the wharf works.(2)A plane two-dimensional tidal mathematical model is established to simulate the flow movement before and after the construction of the wharf project under three tidal conditions:normal tide,98 Flood and 97 storm surge, and to study the changes of water level, flow pattern and flow field. The calculation shows that the water level before and after the construction of the wharf project does not change more than 0.012m;the flow pattern changes only because of the water blocking effect of the pile foundation in the upstream and downstream part of the approach bridge, the flow velocity decreases;the flow field changes mainly affect the upstream and downstream 1km range of the wharf project. The construction of the wharf project has no influence on the mainstream of the Yangtze River and little influence on the flood discharge of the Yangtze River.(3)The influence of the wharf project on the river regime evolution is limited to the local area of the project(4)Through comprehensive analysis, the wharf project can meet the existing water conservancy planning, flood control standards and technical management requirements, has little impact on the flood discharge safety and river regime stability of the Yangtze River, and will not affect the embankment, revetment, other water conservancy projects and facilities and the water rights and interests of the third person upstream and downstream of the river section.
