The purpose of this study,which is a part of the research project "Technical Development of Intelligent Safety Protection Equipment for Ships",is to develop and design a set of intelligent security access control system for ships.At present,manual registration,manual inspection and other methods are often used to control the boarding and disembarking of passengers and crew members onboard ships.These methods not only reduce the reliability of personnel identification,but also go against the general direction of intelligent navigation,which aims to reduce the number of crew members and improve efficiency.Meanwhile,it also increases the work burden of ship watchmen and occupies the safety patrol time.Along with the development of biometric technology,AI intelligent algorithm and intelligent chip technology,biometric-based personnel verification technology has been widely applied to various access control systems.Compared with the early fingerprint recognition technology,the biggest feature of face recognition technology is non-contact acquisition and recognition,which can provide a better usage experience.In order to reduce the safety risks faced by ships during berthing,and improve the efficiency and reliability of the inspection and verification of boarding and disembarking personnel,a set of intelligent security access control system for ships is designed and implemented in this study based on face recognition technology.The main contents of this thesis are as follows:1.The design and development ideas of the system are clarified from ship security,safe navigation,communication and interference,emergency power supply,personnel evacuation and other dimensions through interpreting the International Ship and Port Facility Security Code and the 1974 International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea.Subsequently,the main functions of the access control system are extracted,and the overall framework of the system is designed.2.Based on the theoretical research of target detection and face recognition algorithm,the algorithm design and implementation of target detection and face recognition are completed to meet the practical needs of ships.The improved YOLOv3-Tiny target detection network is used to detect the wearing of safety helmet,including data set establishment,network improvement,model training and testing.OpenCV is introduced to realize image preprocessing and AdaBoost face detection algorithm based on Haar features is used to extract face feature.LBP face recognition algorithm is finally used to realize the identity verification of boarding and disembarking personnel.3.Based on the previous study of regulations and practical needs of ship work,the hardware platform of access control system is built and the software is designed and implemented.The raspberry PI 4B development board is adopted as the core to build an embedded access control hardware platform.An embedded software development environment including QT and OpenCV is also built.The channel control process and security incident reporting process under three security levels are designed based on the main functions of the system condensed in the interpretation of rules.SQLite database is used to store and transfer ship security level,personnel information and record information.4.On the basis of the above study,the interface design and code implementation of the system program are completed,and the system joint debugging is completed.The preliminary realization of personnel boarding and disembarkation inspection,registration and ship boarding and disembarkation channel intelligent control is achieved.The results show that the access control system designed in this study can meet the needs of personnel detection and intelligent access control in ship application scenarios and improve the security protection level in the process of cargo transportation,while improving the efficiency of boarding and disembarking of ships.
