The current incidence of children with cerebral palsy is two-thirds per thousand.It means that there are two to three patients with cerebral palsy among every 1,000 newborns.What’s worse,this proportion is increasing year by year.In order to rehabilitate children with cerebral palsy,scientific rehabilitation training can be employed to help children get healthy faster,in addition to scientific treatment.In this paper,the characteristics of children with cerebral palsy,the categories and utilities of different rehabilitation facilities are analyzed with field investigation and literature review.At present,the rehabilitation of children with cerebral palsy are mainly carried out in hospitals and rehabilitation schools,while there are many problems with the supporting rehabilitation training facilities.For instance,rehabilitation facilities without professional and systematical design are large in size,single in function and cold in materials,so that they are not suitable for children with cerebral palsy to use at home.In this paper,the functions of rehabilitation facilities are analyzed and reintegrated in details.It is proposed that the design direction of cerebral palsy rehabilitation facilities should be multifunctional and the multifunctional design should follow the principles of pertinence,unity and system.Therefore,we can improve the multifunctional integration of cerebral palsy rehabilitation facilities and their adaptability in the family environment.In the end,by the designing practice,attempts are made to solve the problems found during the investigation and design the cerebral palsy rehabilitation facility suitable for multiple scenarios.
