Wheel loader is a kind of earthmoving machinery,it can be used to load,lift and dump material through bucket and a linkage mechanism(which named working device)installed at the front end of machine.Based on a Z-bar linkage wheel loader(L120),this article studies and analyzes the optimal design and verification method of the working device linkage mechanism,ensured the target life requirements of working device and shortened the product development time.This article first introduces the design method of the wheel loader working device.By analyzing the actual working conditions of wheel loader,the typical working conditions of loaders are determined.And simplify the calculation model of the whole machine and combine with "the load calculation program" of a loader to calculate the bearing load,breakout force and lift force of the working device.Secondly,based on the analysis of typical working conditions of the loader,the working conditions with heavy load and complicated force are selected for static load strength analysis,which avoids the damage of the linkage mechanism caused by the possible ultimate load;further improve the linkage mechanism design.Finally,explores a new fatigue life assessment method for the wheel loader working design.In design phase,based on the strain-stress test data of the original model,after scaling the test data,takes it as the input of the ANSYS finite element simulation analysis of the L120 working device,and evaluates the working device fatigue life.After that,based on the measured data of the prototype,the evaluation confirmed that the L120 working device can meet the target life requirement and shorten the product development cycle.At the same time,the method of working device design and testing is verified,which provides a new reference method of subsequent wheel loader loading unit design.In this article,preliminary progress has been made in improving the design of the working device linkage mechanism,improving the fatigue life of the working device,and exploring the verification method.The results of the research and analysis have guiding significance for the subsequent wheel loader loading unit design.
