The ship propulsion system is the "heart" of the ship,and the ship propulsion shafting is the core unit of the ship propulsion system.The running state of the propulsion shafting directly affects the ship's operating state and even the ship's life.Bearing load is one of the most important manifestation of the running state of the propulsion shafting.The research on steady state load of ship propulsion shafting meets the needs of ship development and is of great value for practical engineering application.In this paper,the ship propulsion shafting-oil film-bearing structure system are taken as the research objects,through the mathematical model of ship propulsion shafting running status.to reveal the coupling relationship among the ship propulsion shafting bearing load,the oil film force and the journal position.and to establish mathematical models of ship propulsion shafting in steady-state dynamic operation.to solve basic theoretical problems for modeling,simulation and analysis of the ship propulsion shafting running state,to provide theoretical support for ship propulsion shafting operation safety prediction,management and evaluation.The main research contents and results of this paper are as follows:(1)Based on the research and analysis of the alignment theory of Marine propulsion shafting and the basic theory of oil film dynamics,the steady-state load mathematical model of Marine propulsion shafting bearing was established by deducing and analyzing the geometric and mechanical relations of the bearing journal position in steady state.Taking MATLAB as the numerical calculation tool,the steady load calculation method of Marine propulsion shaft bearing is proposed.(2)The first experiment platform as the research object,the design of the eight kinds of load loading scheme,the experiment platform is obtained by simulation calculation when shaft axis position,the oil film bearing load,the journal characteristics,such as state as the speed change rule,and analyze the safe operation of the test bench is obtained and the qualitative relationship between the characteristics of steady state operating status.Then,an experimental study was carried out on the experimental platform,and the variation rule of the axis track was analyzed through the experimental measurement under eight schemes,which verified the accuracy of the numerical calculation and the correctness of the steadystate load mathematical model of the ship propulsion shafting.(3)To a 64000 DWT bulk carrier as the research object,the application of ship propulsion shafting bearing static load calculation method,characteristic parameters of ship shafting bearing static load and the factors affecting the analysis and discussion,reveals the oil film force and effective pressure of oil film and steady-state load distribution regularity of the bearing axis,and the position of bearing,bearing design and the influence of temperature on steady-state load bearing clearance rule,for the ship shafting bearing wear provides important basis for fault diagnosis.
