When firing low calorific value fuel,the turbine cooling and flow matching between compressor and turbine of the gas turbine will be greatly affected.The composition and calorific value of the fuel vary greatly with the fuel source.Different flow adjustment methods for gas turbines can be used but the selection might be difficult.This paper mainly focuses on the research of turbine cooling performance and flow matching of H-class gas turbine burning low-medium calorific value fuel.The main work is as follows:1)For H class gas turbine,the turbine cooling and thermodynamic performance of the gas turbine burning low-medium calorific value fuel were analyzed under five different conditions which represents different degree of the gas turbine retrofit.The results show that the adoption of integrated air separation can realize flow matching and the gas turbine will need minor modification.When reducing compressor flow or increasing turbine flow area to adapt to the low calorific value fuel,the gas turbine need to do major modification or redesign.2)Based on the quasi-one-continuousal turbine cooling model,this paper developed the correlation between the ISO turbine inlet temperature modification and the content of water vapor and carbon dioxide of the combustor outlet gas for the gas turbine when firing low-medium BTU fuel gas.This paper also analyzed the correlation between the quasi-one-continuousal turbine inlet temperature modification and the content of water vapor and carbon dioxide of the combustor outlet gas.The results show the correlation between the quasi-one-continuousal/ISO turbine inlet temperature modification and the content of water vapor and carbon dioxide of the combustor outlet gas is linear.3)The thermodynamic performances of gas turbine when firing medium BTU fuel gas without dilution,water vapor diluted fuel gas and nitrogen diluted fuel were quantitatively analyzed and compared.The result indicates that the influence of nitrogen dilution on gas turbine flow matching is greater than water vapor dilution.4)The investment estimation for the gas turbine or combined cycle burning natural gas is quantitatively analyzed as the different of power and efficiency.The investment estimation for the gas turbine or combined cycle burning natural gas is given,and this paper analyzed the different of the investment estimation for the gas turbine or combined cycle when firing low BTU fuel gas. |
