Due to the motion interference of the ship in the course of sailing, the precise instrument and equipment on ship usually cannot work normally,in which of the situation,ship-borne stabilized platform has been widely applied in modem weapons and civil facilities, such as projectiles rockets missiles and guidance, radar antenna, marine mobile SATCOM and etc, since it is capable of isolating the ship body disturbance, maintaining the precise dynamic posture base. This Paper,in the view of engineering application, takes the stabilized platform of ship borne weapons as the study object, puts major research on the servo control techniques applied in the stabilized platform. This Paper first presents the structural design of the stabilized platform, then makes analysis on the general design scheme and the principles, introduces several key parts that are composed of the whole system on which basis the theory and implementing methods of the system hardware circuit are proposed,as well as the hardware logic of each module of different functions and the design of VHDL are accomplished. In the application of controlling algorithm in this Paper, some generic PID controlling algorithm is firstly introduced and the improved PID controlling algorithm based on the algorithm mentioned above is presented, simulative analysis and the design of control software is also completed. In the end of this Paper, prototype test and research results show the system realized the designed specifications efficiently, satisfied the system specification requirements, and it proves the correctness of the system design scheme and the availability of the controlling algorithm in the meantime.
