In the manufacturing process of aerospace,nuclear power generation,oil storage,transportation and other equipment,due to the complex structure of large components and variable measurement environment,the required algorithm functions are complex and diverse.The existing visual measurement system is difficult to meet the complex visual measurement needs of large components.The existing monocular vision measurement system based on virtual instrument can realize the basic measurement task,but there is no system architecture for the complex visual measurement task of large components.Most of the system software adopt the visual toolkit of Lab VIEW for image acquisition and processing,and the function is single.It can’t meet the demand of functional expansibility and data openness of visual measurement system of large components.Therefore,for the precision measurement of 3d geometric parameters of large components in complex environments,it is of great significance to integrate a set of visual measurement system that has a reasonable and perfect architecture and can meet the requirements of functional scalability and data openness.Based on the detailed analysis of visual measurement requirements of large components,a monocular visual measurement system based on virtual instrument is integrated with virtual instrument technology which has the advantages of flexibility,extensibility and openness.A modular architecture of the system is given,and the integration method of hardware and software is given.The camera calibration is completed,and the error and uncertainty of the results are analyzed to determine the optimal number of images for calibration.The unified algorithm interface and data interface are designed by using COM component technology and XML technology,which provides technical support for system functional expansibility and data openness.The system hardware selection,integration and software development are completed,and the monocular vision measurement system integration based on virtual instrument is realized.At this time,the calibration error and uncertainty tend to be stable.Experimental and test results show that the camera calibration results are affected by the number of calibration images,and the optimal number of images used for calibration is 10.The integrated monocular vision measurement system based on virtual instrument can realize camera calibration,image acquisition,image preprocessing,target recognition,pose estimation and other functions.The system has complete functions,functional expansibility and data openness,and can meet the system requirements of visual measurement application of large components.
