In order to test the quality of the signal flare is qualified,the manufacturers measure the altitude and burning time of the signal flare.At present,most of the means of measurement by the manufacturers are artificially measured with the aid of high measuring apparatus,this method has the disadvantages of complicated operation,low measurement accuracy,and large errors caused by human subjective factors.But,as one of the most advanced active optical measurement technologies,binocular stereo vision technology has the unique advantages of high measurement speed,high precision,and strong anti-interference.This paper mainly studies the application of stereo vision technology in the flight parameters measurement of signal flare.According to the requirements of measurement environment,accuracy and speed,it designs and builds a binocular stereo vision measurement system to measure the flight parameters of signal flares quickly and accurately.The main work is as follows:(1)According to the manufacturer's requirements for measurement accuracy and measurement environment,combining with binocular stereo vision distance measurement principle,a set of signal missile flight parameter measurement system was set up,and on this basis,a software framework supporting the system was constructed;(2)Researching the mathematical model and calibration principle of the camera.Then according to the characteristics of complex background and uneven brightness in the calibration image of the shooting range environment,the camera calibration method of Zhang-Zhengyou is improved to achieve accurate and rapid stereo calibration of the binocular camera.Then,the left and right camera imaging planes are aligned by stereo correction,and an binocular stereoscopic structure is constructed by mathematical means;(3)In the complex dynamic background environment,an improved frame substraction method is used to remove the background from the sequence image and extract the signal bomb target.Then the edge of the signal flare is quickly extracted using the improved FASTedge detection algorithm,and the centroid coordinates of the target in the image are calculated.Carry out stereo matching according to the epipolar constraint law,and finally obtain parallax to achieve accurate and rapid measurement;(4)The system is used to carry out the signal flare flight parameter measurement experiment in the shooting range environment,and comparing with the results of the original measurement method of the manufacturer to verify the feasibility of the system and the measurement accuracy.Finally,combining with the experimental results,the error of the experiment is analyzed.(5)Using object-oriented development and implementation technology,C language and VS2015 + MFC development environment were selected.Then,combining with OPENCV3.0development library,signal bomb flight parameter measurement software is designed and developed.The software functions mainly include camera control module,image processing module and database module.The experimental results show that when the system measures the target height in the range of 100-300 m,the measurement error is about 4.73%,and when measuring the luminous time of the signal flare,the average value of the error value is 0.25 s,the average error is about2.5%.The time taken to measure the flight parameters of each signal bomb is about 54.4seconds.The accuracy and speed can fully meet the measurement requirements of the manufacturers and solve some of the problems for the manufacturers.
