In the three consecutive five-year plans,China has put forward the promotion of high-efficiency energy-saving motors and the development of rare earth permanent magnet motors,so as to promote the comprehensive upgrading of the motor industry,improve the motor energy efficiency level,and deepen the work of industrial energy conservation and emission reduction.By encouraging the permanent magnet synchronous motor energy-using equipment development and application,eliminating inefficient energy-using equipment such as motors,compressors,in order to improve the energy efficiency and improve the ecological environment quality,strengthening the management of key energy-using equipment,energy saving and reach the purpose of improve energy-using equipment energy efficiency level.Through the research methods of patent information analysis and comparative analysis,this paper analyzes the global trend trend,major innovation countries,patent technology distribution and main innovation subjects of rare earth permanent magnet motor.The patent status of rare-earth permanent magnet motor in the world and in China is expounded from the aspects of the development trend of rare-earth permanent magnet motor patents,the application status of major innovative countries,the distribution of applications,the layout,the technological distribution of innovation subjects,and the legal status.From the patent basic situation,patent layout,patent cooperation and operation,legal status,patent priority and simple family aspects of the main innovation subjects at home and abroad to carry on the comparative analysis.The main research conclusions are as follows:There are 7136 patent applications for rare earth permanent magnet motors in the world,of which 3054 are Chinese applicants and 4082 are foreign applicants.China,Japan,the United States,Germany,South Korea and France is the most populous country to apply for a patent in this field.The United States,China,Japan,Germany and South Korea is the patent of the world's major countries layout.the preparation of Nd Fe B permanent magnet and the structure of the motor rotor is key technology branch of application at home and abroad.The number of patent applications in China related to rare earth permanent magnet motor technology is 3348.Of which domestic applicants 2974,foreign applicants applied for 374.Nearly 50 enterprises from 14 countries have applied for patents in China,and China has become the main target country for foreign innovation entities.Patent applications are mainly concentrated in the eastern coastal areas.Generally speaking,patent applications have shown a decreasing trend fromeast to west.Central China and western regions have lower application volume,more developed regions,have stronger awareness of intellectual property protection,and the number of patent applications More.From the perspective of the basic situation of patent applications,Chinese innovation entities are the most active technology innovation enterprises in the past five years.Although foreign innovation entities have fewer applications in the past five years,their technological innovation strength is stronger;from the perspective of patent regional layout,China,the United States,Germany,and South Korea are the key patent distribution countries for foreign innovation entities.Domestic innovation entities only carry out patent distribution in the country;in terms of technology distribution,it is mainly reflected in the extension of other innovations by domestic innovation entities,and the lack of the other design of the rotor structure,Chinese innovation entities have applied for fewer patented technologies in terms of structure,which is far inferior to those of Japan and Germany.From the perspective of patent cooperation operations,most domestic and foreign innovation entities cooperate with their subsidiaries Or it is mainly cooperation between subsidiaries,and a few patent applications of foreign innovation bodies cooperate with other enterprises,and even cooperate with Chinese scientific research institutes.
