There are some limitations in optimizing the distributed generation and capacitor individually in the distribution network, which may cause the distribution network resources not to be fully utilized. This paper mainly studies the integrated optimal allocation of distributed generation and capacitor in the distribution network. This paper analyzes the effect of the access of generalized power source for the network loss, voltage, relay protection, power quality, reliability, and planning of distribution network.Besides,a reasonable simulation analysis of the effect on network loss and voltage caused by the individual connection of distributed generation and capacitor in the distribution network is carried out. From the economic point of view of the distribution company, this paper puts forward the objective functions including the income from electricity sales, loss reduction income, deferred investment income of distribution network, voltage quality income, and the investment cost of distributed generation and capacitor.Combined with the constraint conditions of node voltage limit, branch current limit, total grid-connected capacity limit of distributed generation, and capacity limit of distributed generation and capacitor allowed to be connected to a single node,a mathematical model of maximum annual comprehensive income of the distribution company is established. The whale optimization algorithm and genetic algorithm is introduced to solve the established optimal allocation model, and the IEEE33-node distribution system is used to verify the effectiveness of the optimal allocation model and algorithm. The results of individual and integrated optimal allocation of distributed generation and capacitor are compared from three aspects including the annual comprehensive income, network loss and voltage.
