Cracking is one of the main failure forms of asphalt pavement,and adding basalt fiber is an effective way to improve the anti cracking performance of asphalt mixture.After adding basalt fiber,the number of cracks in the mixture is from more to less,and the damage degree is from deep to shallow,which is also beneficial to the self-healing repair of asphalt mixture.In addition,the self-healing technology based on microwave heating is the most concerned technology in recent years,which can effectively recover the micro cracks of asphalt pavement.Therefore,based on microwave heating technology,basalt fiber is mixed into asphalt mixture to study the influence of basalt fiber on the self healing performance of asphalt mixture,so as to improve the self healing performance of asphalt mixture.Firstly,Superpave design method is used to design the mixture ratio of Superpave-13 graded asphalt mixture with and without basalt fiber.The test results show that basalt fiber can improve the high-temperature rutting resistance and low-temperature cracking resistance of asphalt mixture,and can significantly increase the fatigue resistance by 3-6 times.Secondly,the microwave heating characteristics of aggregates from different sources and different lithology are studied.The results show that basalt aggregates have excellent microwave heating performance,which is caused by the high oxide content in the basalt aggregates.The aggregates with excellent heating characteristics are selected to prepare asphalt mixture,which has stable heating rate and high efficiency,and can completely meet the self healing of asphalt mixture Temperature requirements.Thirdly,the self-healing performance test of ordinary asphalt mixture and basalt fiber mixture is carried out by semi-circular bending tensile test;the influence of damage degree,microwave healing temperature and curing time on the self-healing performance of asphalt mixture is studied by range analysis;the self-healing performance of asphalt mixture is compared and analyzed by basalt fiber under the same damage degree and the same damage load The results show that:the effect of test factors on the self-healing rate of asphalt mixture is the degree of damage>microwave temperature>maintenance time;adding basalt fiber can greatly improve the self-healing performance of asphalt mixture,and basalt fiber asphalt mixture has significant advantages in anti cracking and self-healing performance when used in heavy traffic and other sections.The research results of this paper can provide technical support for the self-healing maintenance technology of basalt fiber asphalt pavement and have good application value.
