The earthquake can make indirect effect on the structure of the building,its contingency and suddenness and strong destructiveness can damage building structures.In the vast territory of China,the economy is developing rapidly and the population density is increasing.If the building structures in the bustling downtown area occur earthquake,the damage to the building structures will lead to a series of immeasurable losses,so the traditional seismic technology is gradually unable to meet the requirements of building structure safety.With the development of seismic isolation research and the continuous updating of technology,there has been a relatively complete theoretical foundation in the basic isolation,and it has been applied in a large number of examples.In this paper,we propose a new type of U shaped steel bar rolling seismic isolation bearings.The new type of bearings is mainly composed of two parts: ordinary rolling isolation bearings and U shaped steel bar damper.The combination method is to add U shaped steel bars around rolling ordinary isolation bearings,and the connection of the two is achieved by high strength bolts.The main research of this paper is as follows:1.Theoretical study on the relevant performance of rolling isolation bearings and U shaped steel bar dampers.2.Propose a new rolling isolation bearings with U shaped steel bar to research its composition and superiority.Using engineering calculation of the specific example to decide relevant parameters of the rolling isolation bearings part,and the size of the U shaped steel bar damper is determined according to the size of the rolling isolation bearings and the needs of the examples of projects.3.Modeling the rolling isolation bearing solid with U shaped steel bar by ANSYS,extracting the load-displacement curve at the load point by loading simulation,and then find out the difference of the amount and width of U-shaped steel bars can cause how much difference to hysteretic behavior of the new bearings.The analysis results show that the number of U-shaped bars in the new bearings is multiplied,the stiffness will be multiplied also when parameters of the rolling isolation bearings is same.In addition,the width of the U-shaped steel bar is increased in stages in the new bearings,and the stiffness will be relatively increased.Finally,comparing the hysteresis curve of the U-shaped steel bar-rolling isolation bearings with the traditional rolling isolation bearings,the stiffness of the traditional rolling isolation bearings will be relatively improved.4.Using ANSYS to model the superstructure of the building according to the existing engineering examples.Comparing the acceleration and displacement time history curves of each floor and top floor of the example structure under isolated and non-isolated conditions in the action of representative seismic waves(EL-Centro wave and TAFT wave).The analysis results show that the acceleration and displacement of the engineering structure of the new type of bearing are relatively reduced compared with the case of not using the bearing,so it proved effect of the new type of bearing.U-shaped steel bars in combination with rolling isolation bearing work perfectly.
