Research On Urban Public Space Based On Greenway Theory In Kaifeng

Kaifeng is a city with a long history.As one of the eight famous ancient capitals in China and the first batch of famous national historical and cultural cities,it has been nearly 4100 years since its establishment.With the development of the times,the pace of urbanization is faster and faster.The development of urbanization has brought a series of problems to the city's own conditions,such as environmental pollution,land loss,space destruction,order disorder,morphological dispersion and so on.These problems have to arouse people's thinking.As the main activity place for urban users,the quality of urban public space is also gradually unable to meet the needs.Public space has been differentiated.The space suitable for human activities is decreasing.It has been replaced by the product of social economy.The livability of urban public space is gradually losing.Faced with these problems,how to create urban public space? How to design? How to integrate the natural environment and public space? How to maximize its value? This is the core issue of this paper.For Kaifeng urban public space,while having great research value,the city itself has its particularity,such as the traditional history and culture,special geographical location,the urban spatial pattern of the millennium and the rapid development trend of the new era,which are intertwined in Kaifeng urban public space.The special historical factors determine the development strategy of urban space.On the one hand,it is necessary to develop urban space.To ensure the characteristics of historical cities,priority should be given to the use of their own unique resources;on the other hand,we should also combine the needs of the times and introduce the elements needed for urban development in the new era into the traditional urban space.The two elements are related and integrated to provide valuable optimization strategies for the development of urban public space of historical and cultural cities.Firstly,this paper discusses the research background,content,method,purpose and significance of the paper,as well as the research on urban public space at home and abroad.Through in-depth reading and consulting relevant historical documents,planning materials,books and research results of various universities,the research framework of the paper is analyzed.Secondly,the concepts of urban public space and greenway theory are elaborated separately.At the same time,the differences between public space andopen space,greenway and greenbelt concept are strictly distinguished.By integrating greenway theory and urban public space,the feasibility of Greenway theory in urban public space is put forward.Therefore,the greenway theory is introduced.Greenway system belongs to the component of urban public space.It is a linear open space,which connects the elements of urban public space in series.While connecting public space in series,it provides users with chronic living space.Under the function of Greenway system,the humanistic landscape,historical relics,waterfront space,street space and debris space in urban public space can be accommodated.For a system,space is interconnected.In terms of accessibility,utilization rate,integrity,harmony and livability,the quality of the city has been greatly improved.Finally,taking the urban public space of Kaifeng as the research object,the layout of the urban public space determines the quality of the city for the famous historical and cultural cities,the paper studies the elements contained in the urban public space of Kaifeng and the problems arising in the historical development of the urban public space of Kaifeng.Analysis,such as the closure of space form,the disorder of space order,the disorder of space function,the decline of space quality and so on.Combining with the application examples of Greenway system in urban space,this paper analyses and compares the problems and solutions of different urban public spaces,and considers the greenway theory as a more optimized design from the following aspects:connecting the elements of urban space in Kaifeng in series,coordinating the development of "traditional +ecological" public space,building a new dynamic urban public space,and enhancing the efficiency of urban public space use.Strategies are designed to improve the quality of urban public space in Kaifeng.
