The Chaohe bridge is an earth anchored suspension bridge with three towers and four spans,which is seated on the Jingnan-eight street in the national Zhengzhou economic development zone.This paper takes the construction of the bridge in progress as the engineering background,and studies the construction control of Chaohe bridge which includes the pre-construction control calculation.The main research contents of this article are as follows:First,the construction control calculation and analysis of Chaohe Bridge are carried out in this paper by using the general finite element software Midas civil to establish the model of the whole bridge on account of idea design parameters.The construction control parameters of the cutting length of the main cable strands and slings,the line type of main cables,the control coordinates of clamp installation,the winding forces of the main cables and the saddle pre-bias are given out;the tension construction schemes of sling cables and the control principle of saddle pushing are drew up;and the alignments and bearing capacity of the in-situ catwalk are calculated.Secondly,this paper mainly introduces the adjustment and construction of the datum strands,the optimization of the hanger tension and the adjustment of cable forces.At the same time,the calculation and monitoring of the cable clip lofting are introduced with the engineering questions.The measurement data of the main cable and deck alignments and the forces of the cables and slings are given.Finally,the results show that the construction monitoring of the Chaohe bridge has achieved the expected results.The data of the cable forces and the deck elevations monitored provide important information for future operation management.Meanwhile,the methods of the control in the process also accumulate abundant construction control experience for the same suspension bridges.
