Because of Self-Anchored Suspension Bridge’s graceful structure, unique shape and excellent performance, it has become more and more popular to bridge engineers. However, beacause it has significant nonlinear characteristics. This makes Self-Anchored Suspension Bridge’s construction more difficult. So the construction control of Self-Anchored Suspension Bridge is very important. The paper analyzed and calculated YangMingtan Bridge’s main cables and steel box girders. The research work and main contents of this paper are as follows:1、The precision and accuracy in assembling steel box girders plays an important role for the final bridge line. During YangMingtan Bridge’s steel box girders contruction, we monitored vertical lineshape and torsional deformation of steel box girders. The lineshape of steel box girders anastomosis for the design lineshape by measuring.2、The paper simulated the incremental launching process of steel box girders and analyzing its internal force state by finite element software. And this paper come to the conclusion that various internal force of steel box girders are within permissible value. On this basis, this paper analyzed the stability of temporary pier at the most cantilever status, and analyzed the force of closure segment concrete.3、The general construction and the erection method of separation type catwalks are introduced in the paper. Because catwalks are temporary construction platform, calculation of the lineshape and force of catwalks can use parabola theory. And cutting length of catwalks are given, and checks emergency capacity of the catwalks.4、The method of analytic calculation of main cables are introduced in this paper. They are parabola theory, catenary theory and theory of sectional catenary. According to the their respective basic assumptions, the calculation formula of various calculation theories are given respectively. The unstressed length of main cable is calculated in this paper by catenary theory and theory of sectional catenary. The calculation formulas of horizontal and vertical component force of main cables are obtained. And the unstressed length of the main cable saddle are modified.5、Bridge in the initial state of equilibrium analysis using the finite element software,Contrast into the cable shape and design values of the bridge state, accuracy to meet the construction requirements. Discusses the main cable saddle to the pre-partial retrogression analysis obtained finite element method.6、Discussed the steps and methods to adjust the impact matrix method of strand.Prepared strand adjustment procedure to debugg on the the Yangming Beach Bridge strand. The method is clear and easy to understand, high regulation accuracy. Effective method to adjust the strand. Finally, this paper describes the general strand erection and vertical adjustment, clear thinking, available to other suspension bridge cable construction draw.
