With the rapid development of modern society and economy,the demand for automobiles is getting higher,the position of the tire industry in transportation and production is increasing,and ensuring the quality of tire products has become a popular research direction for tire manufacturers at this stage.Carrying out a series of defect tests before the tires are put into use can not only ensure the safety and reliability of tire products,but also save costs for tire manufacturers.X-ray technology is the main method used by modern enterprises to inspect tires.The tires are imaged using X-rays and then transmitted to the computer.Finally,the tire defect detection program is designed to process the images.Foreign tire testing equipment is expensive.Most domestic tire manufacturing companies still use manual methods for testing.Although some companies use equipment for testing,their core testing algorithms still need to be purchased from foreign tire testing companies,so they are designed for tire defects.It is urgently needed by domestic tire manufacturers to come up with effective detection methods.In this paper,image processing technology is used to analyze the tire image with defects.In the image preprocessing,the processing results of the image gray-scale linear stretching,histogram equalization,and image enhancement based on mean filtering are compared to refine the image.In the test,the window with a certain angle was designed to filter the image maximum value,extract the image background,and perform the difference operation between the original image and the background image to obtain the detection target image.For cord spacing defects and cord bending,the threading method is used in the horizontal and vertical directions for detection;for the cross-overlap of impurities and cords,the detection method of image enhancement and morphological principles is used;for the bubbles,Sobel is used The Xdirection template of the operator is used for detection;the Sobel operator X-direction template is used to extract the wrong side of the belt and the head is raised,and the method of reconstructing the belt is detected by the morphological principle.The test gallery of this subject has a total of 410 radial tire images with a detection rate of 98.05%.
