Kindergartens have a profound impact on children's development,especially on children's growth.In recent years,China has attached great importance to early childhood education.The increase of children's gross enrollment rate and the care needs of children under 3 years old will bring more project opportunities to the construction industry.However,at this stage,the attention of architects to the design of kindergartens needs to be further strengthened.Concerned about the design of kindergartens,this paper studies the design of kindergarten activity space based on the educational philosophy of child developmentBased on the research on the evolution of the educational philosophy and system of child development in modern China,the general situation of kindergarten activity space design in contemporary China,and the method of kindergarten activity space design under the guidance of educational philosophy of child development,this paper analyzes and ponders the typical cases of kindergarten activity space under the guidance of educational philosophy of child development,and explores what kind of kindergarten activity space is more beneficial to children for growth and development in all aspects.The research methods of this paper are mainly data statistical induction and case comparative analysis.Using the thinking of "big data" for reference,100 cases in design atlas and 52 engineering cases are selected as quantitative analysis objects.In the case study,274 kindergartens on Archdaily,the website of architectural information,are selected for comparative study.Based on the educational philosophy of child development,kindergarten activity space design requires architects to explore the diversity and possibility of space,consider the variability and flexibility of space,create a variety of spaces that can release children's nature,and help children to achieve self-realization.
