Human development is restricted by environment degradation and shortage of energy sources.Wind energy is renewable energy source.It attracted lots of attention from all over the world.The traditional way is using detailed models of wind farm to simulate the fluctuating character of grid connection wind farm.The scale of wind farms becomes larger than before.If we still use detailed models to simulate wind farm,the data storage and calculation is massive.Hence,we studied the equivalent model of wind farms to decrease the huge simulating calculation.Firstly,the subject of this study is double fed induction generator(DFIG).We introduced different models of single double fed induction generator in detail,including wind speed model,aerodynamic model,shafting model,generator model and converter model.At a time,we analyzed the simulation character for the grid connection of double fed induction generator at a time,when the grid and voltage was imbalance.Secondly,according to the 12 state variables of wind power sets character,we analyzed it with support of theories,choosing v???Pe as the clustering indicator for double fed induction generator.By improving the swarm intelligent optimization algorithms,the optimal performance can be increased.Then,we classed wind farm to different groups using K-means clustering algorithms which improved swarm intelligent optimization.Then,we explained the data analyzing methods in detail based on the pcc measuring data to certain the equivalent wind generator parameters.After the full consideration of response out of the system,it identified the equivalent wind generator parameters using MPSO.Finally,comparing the detailed model and the single equivalent model with the simulation of equivalent wind farm model on the situation of wind speed fluctuating and malfunction,the simulation result shows that the equivalent model of wind farm based on the clustering algorithms and identifying method is highly similar with detailed model in terms of running status.Equivalent wind farm model can be used in a large scale.
