Research Of Landscape Improvement Of Airport Public Area

With the rapid development of China’s transportation industry,aviation has become the most conventional way of long-distance transportation.Airport,as the carrier of air-ground connection,is not only of great significance to the economic and social development of the city(country),but also the "gateway" area of the city and the window to display the image and civilization of the city.Airport public area is an important part of the airport.Its reasonable landscape design can promote the sustainable development of the airport area,provide a safe,stable and green landscape environment for the airport,and make the airport and its surrounding environment integrate.The design of airport public area landscape should combine economy,environment and culture organically,so that it can display,publicize,educate and other functions.At the present stage,there are many problems in the airport public area landscape in China,such as backward design concept,separation of landscape from ecology,lack of cultural characteristics and so on.How to improve the current situation of airport public area landscape and create new cultural value and use value for airport has become an important research topic.Firstly,this paper studies the current situation of airport public area landscape at home and abroad,defines the relevant concepts,collates the relevant theories of airport public area landscape design;then,it analyses the excellent cases of airport public area design and upgrading at home and abroad,explores the characteristics of airport public area landscape;and then from the perspective of garden elements and landscape categories.This paper summarizes the contents of landscape upgrading in airport public areas,and puts forward the methods of landscape upgrading in airport public areas from the planning and design levels.In addition,the research results were applied to the landscape upgrading of Beijing Capital International Airport public area to verify the rationality and scientificity of the theory.Finally,the research results are summarized in order to provide some references for the future improvement of landscape design in airport public areas.
