Automobiles play an indispensable role in daily life.With the rapid development of cutting-edge technology,driverless car research is also in full swing,but there are also some problems that cannot be ignored at the same time of development.The complex system and high development and maintenance costs are the fundamental reasons why the development speed of smart cars andss unmanned vehicles is currently limited and cannot be popularized.In order to reduce the development and maintenance costs of smart cars and unmanned vehicles,the complexity of the system must be reduced.The problem of distance measurement is the basis for the perception of the environment of smart cars and unmanned vehicles,and it is also a prerequisite for intelligentization and unmanned driving.However,the traditional ranging technology uses a multi-sensor fusion method,the system is complex,and the development and maintenance costs are high.Monocular ranging technology can effectively reduce the complexity and development and maintenance costs of automotive perception systems,but the real-time accuracy is poor.In order to improve the real-time and accuracy of monocular ranging,it is necessary to obtain corresponding data and analyze it.This article intends to develop a monocular ranging real-time data collection platform,Firstly,the hardware system and structure of the platform are designed,including the selection and assembly of high-definition camera and laser rangefinder.Secondly,the control interface and control software are designed,including the installation of the Raspberry Pi motherboard system,video control software and laser rangefinder programming.Developed a platform that can simultaneously acquire data sets in the form of time scales,road images,measured point pixel coordinates,and measured point distances.Experiments show that this design has the characteristics of low cost,easy operation,high precision,etc.,and the ability to obtain effective data sets,which achieves the design purpose.
