| Nowadays,the society is generally faced with energy problems.As an important means of transportation,how to ensure the rapidity and stability of ships and realize energy conservation and emission reduction to the greatest extent is one of the major problems facing the ship industry.In 2011,EEDI and SEEMP,two energy efficiency guidelines for ships,were officially launched,and ships were officially declared to enter the "green ship" stage.At present,there are many ways to reduce the energy consumption of ships,and the improvement of ship propulsion is considered to be one of the most effective methods.The vane wheel additional device is widely used to improve ship propeller because it is easy to install and can greatly improve ship propeller efficiency.However,there are few theoretical researches and designs on it at present.In this paper,based on Grim free impeller and CFD numerical simulation method,the vane wheel is designed and the hydrodynamic performance is studied.The specific contents are as follows:(1)The design and CFD numerical calculation of B series propeller,type B5-60.The open water performance of the B5-60 propeller under four turbulence models including Standard k-ε、Realizable k-ε、SST k-ω、Standard k-ω is compared,and the best open water performance of the SST k-ωmodel is obtained.At the same time,the pressure characteristics of the propeller blade of the B5-60 propeller are analyzed and the wake flow field is analyzed.(2)Based on the type B5-60 propeller as the main propeller,the calculation and design of the vane wheel was completed.At the same time,CFD numerical calculation of the vane wheelpropeller system is conducted based on the turbulence model SST k-ω which is selected in combination with the hydrodynamic performance analysis of the main propeller.Under the condition of propeller,the propeller system equipped with vane wheel is compared with the single propeller of B5-60 in the hydrodynamic performance analysis.It is found that the thrust is improved 8.08% and efficiency is improved 7.94% under the condition of the same advance velocity coefficient J=0.6.It can be seen that the energy saving effect of the propeller system equipped with vane wheel is obvious.At the same time,it can be seen that the torque of the main propeller which is compared with that of the single propeller is reduced by 0.019%,saving part of the host power.The pressure characteristics of propeller system with vane wheel are studied.(3)The pitch ratio L/D,the axial distance between vane wheel and propeller,has a great impact on the propeller system.In this paper,three pitch ratios L/D are selected for hydrodynamic performance comparison.Through comparison and analysis results,it is found that when pitch ratio L/D is 0.28 D,the open water performance of the propeller system reaches the best state. |
