| In recent years, with the continuous change of the global ecological environment, dust weather has occurred in Gansu,Xinjiang and Inner Mongolia in the north of China, which has caused great damage to the local environment and seriously affected the work and life of local people. And when the wind-blown sand passes through the construction buildings,it will have a certain impact on the loading of these buildings, which will directly affect the safety of the engineering structure. Therefore,it is very important to study the wind loading of engineering structure in the sand/dust storm environment.Cylindrical engineering structure is very common in our daily life, and much previous research has been paid attention to the wind load on cylindrical structure. However, there are few researches on the loading of cylindrical engineering structures in the wind-blown sand environment. Therefore,in this paper, the large-scale commercial software ANSYS-Fluent is used to simulate the pressure and resistance of the cylindrical structure in the wind-blown sand environment, and the flow field around the building is computed and analyzed. The numerical results have shed light on building structure design and maintenance in practical application. The main contents of this paper are as follows:1.Firstly,the previous research of wind engineering and flow around the cylindrical cylinder in literature are summarized, and the commonly used turbulence models in numerical simulation are analyzed and compared with each other, and the turbulence models and numerical methods selected in this paper are determined. Then, through the simulation analysis of the flow around the single cylindrical cylinder and the double cylindrical cylinder, the reliability of the selected method in this study is verified.2.By changing the sand phase with different particle size and volume fraction, and changing the spacing ratio of two circular cylinders in tandem arrangements, the flow around the single circular cylinder and two series circular cylinders is simulated in the wind-blown sand two-phase flow environment.Firstly, the distribution of flow field around the cylindrical structure under different conditions is analyzed. Then, through the analysis of the pressure coefficient and resistance coefficient of the cylindrical structure under different conditions, the influence of the wind-blown sand field on the loading of the cylindrical engineering structure under different two-phase flow conditions is explained.Through the research and analysis of this paper, the mechanical characteristics and wind fieldcharacteristics of the cylindrical engineering structure in the sand/dust storm environment are summarized. It is shown that the wind-blown sand flow has an obvious influence on the force of the cylindrical engineering structure, which is one of the factors that must be considered in the actual engineering structure design and maintenance. The numerical results provide a reliable basis for the design of the cylindrical engineering structure. |
