With the rapid development of social economy,urbanization is taking place all over the world.The rapid pace of urbanization construction in China has greatly changed the spatial pattern of economy and society,and the problem of urbanization has become increasingly prominent:Unbalanced urban development planning,urban space expands wantonly,The connectivity between regions is declining,and the vitality of regional cities is insufficient.Simply pursuing the increase of the number of cities and towns and the expansion of their scale can no longer meet the needs of the current healthy and stable development of the country.How to make a region more dynamic is an important topic for scholars.At present,scholars at home and abroad have failed to form a more unified definition of urban vitality.More efforts should be made to build an evaluation system of urban vitality in terms of economy,society,culture and environment.It is greatly influenced by human statistical data.In this paper,the central city of Guangfo is selected as the research scope.From the static and dynamic aspects,several indicators such as crowd activity,urban short barge traffic,urban activity at night,urban functional zoning and land use distribution are selected to explore the connotation of urban vitality and build a more appropriate comprehensive evaluation index system of the central city of Guangfo.This provides support for the stable and healthy development of regional cities.The main work includes:(1)The basic connotation of urban vitality is explored.According to this study,it is proposed to evaluate and analyze urban vitality from dynamic and static aspects,and the necessity of diversified evaluation of urban vitality is pointed out.(2)The population data,urban short barge traffic data,night lighting data,urban interest point data,land use data and other non statistical data are selected to build the urban vitality evaluation system,and the catastrophe progression method is used to quantitatively evaluate the urban vitality of the study area.This can reduce the subjectivity of artificial weight determination,strengthen the scientificity and rationality of urban vitality evaluation results,and balance the internal relations among various indicators.(3)Analyze and discuss the influencing factors of urban vitality evaluation.The results are as follows:(1)The dynamic vitality of the city in the study area isdetermined by selecting population flow factors and urban short barge traffic data,using gravity method and spatial syntax.Influenced by the population flow and bicycle sharing point,its dynamic vitality shows a clear phenomenon of "day and night".At the same time,due to the incomplete layout of shared bicycles,the urban vitality of Guangzhou and Foshan has broken.(2)Its urban static vitality is relatively balanced,and most regions have strong urban vitality.The distribution of urban functional areas has a great influence on urban vitality,The higher the functional diversity,the stronger the diversity of land use structure,the stronger the static vitality of the city.(3)By using the method of catastrophe progression,the influence of artificial weight is reduced,and the urban comprehensive vitality of the study area is evaluated quantitatively from the dynamic and static levels.At present,the overall urban vitality of the study area is strong and the development trend is stable,but there is still a large space for improvement.Static factors are the basis of urban vitality,while dynamic factors promote the continuous improvement of urban vitality.(4)We will promote the flow of people,increase the use of shared bicycles,improve infrastructure in urban fringe areas,improve traffic quality,and increase the mix of urban functional areas.It has a strong influence on the realization of new urban vitality.
