The increased risk of urban storms and floods and the frequent occurrence of vacant land are increasingly prominent "urban diseases" in the process of urbanization.Not only disrupt the normal city operation,but also cause tremendous pressure on the urban ecological environment.This paper studies the strategy of urban vacant land utilizing on green infrastructure to alleviate urban rainwater problems.Taking Changzhou,where both types of problems are relatively prominent in the development of urbanization,as an example,using remote sensing analysis technology,this paper attempts to analyze the characteristics of urban vacant land patterns using the central area of Changzhou as a research area,find out urban vacant land with potential for rain and flood regulation,and research Possibility and hierarchy of urban rainwater regulation.The research proves that although there is no significant change in the spatiotemporal trend of urban vacant land,a large number of vacant land are ubiquitous in the process of urbanization,and they have the ability to regulate rain and flood,and can be more easily incorporated into urban green infrastructure.At the same time,the study also found that the vacant land is mainly distributed in the shape of a plane and a line at the junction of the administrative district and the fringe of the urban area,and scattered in the central and old urban areas.In addition,the vacant period is mainly one year or less,and the number of sites that have been vacant for two years has dropped significantly.It is also found that the nature of the vacant land and the natural processes occurring on the site have a greater impact on the use of vacant land and the function of rain and flood regulation.Finally,based on the characteristics of regional urbanization,this paper puts forward the ways of integrating vacant land with green infrastructure to utilize vacant land: according to the connection of various land use types with construction land,green land, water and road resources,establish a variety of rainwater regulation methods;according to different types of vacant land,it puts forward specific wild ways,in order to start,stimulate and allow the occurrence of rainwater natural process,and alleviate the pressure of urban flood discharge.
