China’s land resources are tense.In order to avoid rapid urbanization encroaching on farmland and ecological land,the compact development of cities in the future and the improvement of land use efficiency are inevitable choices.The street is the most important public space in the city and the main structure connecting the city.The evolution of the relationship between it and the building interface shows the trend of "tight integration in the traditional period","slow separation after the modernist movement",and "now compact".However,China has lagged behind in this development process.The restriction of land ownership and the existence of the sparse road network in the street area have led to the separation and independence of roads and land,which has an impact on the quality of streets and cities.Therefore,it is necessary to strengthen the overall planning of urban space between buildings,and the integration of street space is imperative.As a historical "development" and ultimately "choice" road network planning model,the small block dense road network "improves land use efficiency,compact and intensive development," the contemporary connotation of "advocating a healthy walking lifestyle,and revitalizing streets" and the current city The demand for compact development coincides.However,the implementation of the small block dense road network in China is still in the pilot stage,and a set of applicable rules has not been formed.The norms and standards formulated by the longterm "street block sparse road network" planning model have become a small constraint to a certain extent.The direct factor for the improvement of the integration of street space under the block,while the stakeholders involved in the street are diverse and complex,the lack of an effective coordination mechanism further hinders the integrated development of street space.Therefore,this paper studies the integration of street space under the dense road network of small blocks.Based on summarizing the current situation of China,summing up the experience and reflection of the integrated street blocks,we try to build an integrated framework of street space under the dense road network of small blocks in China.The integration objectives,mechanisms and implementation strategies at the spatial level,and the Pazhou West District urban design project in which the author personally participated in the research are the objects of practice analysis,with a view to providing reference for relevant domestic practices in the future.This article starts with the logic of "proposing a problem-analyzing a problem-solving a problem".The first part is to ask questions(Chapter 1,Chapter 2).Using the literature research method tosort out the evolution of the relationship between the street and the interface and the connotation of the dense road network in small blocks,explain the connotation and development necessity of street space integration,and demonstrate the urgency of street space integration in the current context Sex and value.Based on this research,the questions are raised,and the constraints faced by the integration of street space under the dense road network of small blocks in China are summarized and analyzed through information statistics and literature research.The second part is to analyze the problem(Chapter 3).Using the survey analysis method,focusing on the three blocks built in China with the concept of small block dense road network planning and carrying out research,analyzing the practical cases from the perspective of integration,and using comparative induction to summarize the experience and the three cases Lessons,analyze the advanced nature of the integration of their respective street spaces.The third part is to solve problems(Chapter 4 and Chapter 5).Aiming at the status quo problems summarized in the first part,combining the advanced experience of integration of cases and the reflection of insufficiency,we propose an applicable framework for improving the integration of street space under the dense road network of small blocks in China from the aspects of goals,mechanism guarantees,and specific practical operations of space.Guide follow-up practice.Based on the constructed framework,taking the specific practice of street space integration in Pazhou West District of Guangzhou as an example,the specific operation mode of street space integration is deeply analyzed from the system,the overall level of the street,and the specific parcel level,and the practical characteristics are summarized.Argumentation and supplement.
