With the development and progress of computer technology and information technology,BIM(Building Information Modeling)technology came into being and has been widely used in various fields of engineering construction.Hydraulic engineering is an important strategic project of the country,and BIM technology has a wide range of application requirements in it.This article takes BIM models,especially hydraulic engineering BIM models as research objects.Based on the lightweight theory of the model and Web3 D technology,it attempts to use information extraction and reorganization methods to make the hydraulic engineering BIM model lightweight and able to be loaded and displayed in the browser.On this basis,the relationship between the original model and the web-side model was clarified by exploring the process of loading and rendering the model on the web-side,and a real-time interaction system for the web-side BIM model was established.The application threshold of BIM technology is reduced,which provides technical support for its further application and promotion in water conservancy projects.The specific work includes the following two aspects:1.Optimization and loading of BIM model for hydraulic engineeringThrough previous research and preparations,a BIM model for hydraulic engineering was established in the modeling software using the principle of parametric modeling.Because the data organization,file format,and loading method based on the modeling software are not applicable to the browser,the model source file cannot be loaded directly on the client browser.In order to solve this problem,this research based on the secondary development of modeling software,designed a plug-in to extract important information of the model,reorganize the file format,make the model source file lighter,and suitable for transmission and display on the web side;Then use WebGL technology to load and render the engineering model after lightweight processing on the web side to achieve the model display on the web page side.2.Web interaction technology for BIM model of hydraulic engineeringIn order to solve the problem of the weak interaction function of the model on the web page and meet the actual engineering needs,after clarifying the principle of the model’s interaction on the web page,the relationship between the operation instructions and the model response was clarified by means of quantitative processing,and a real-time model was builtThe interactive controller meets the relevant practitioners’ needs for multi-dimensional,multi-perspective,and multi-level observation of the model,and implements the interactive functions required for engineering such as model cutting and measurement on the Web side.
