With the rapid development of China's economy and civil aviation industry,the airport's traffic flow has gradually increased,and the accurate positioning and tracking of aircraft and cars at the airport scene is the basis for the safe operation of the airport and the implementation of accurate control.Multipoint positioning(MLAT)system is a new technology for scene surveillance,which has the characteristics of low cost,wide coverage,and easy implementation.This paper mainly studies the positioning and trajectory tracking algorithms of MLAT system,and takes the geometric precision factor(GDOP)as the guide parameter,and uses the improved genetic algorithm to design the base station layout of MLAT system.First of all,the paper from the background and significance of the aspects of the elaboration.And gives a general overview of the MLAT system from three aspects: technical principles,system composition,and technical applications.Then,the TDOA positioning algorithm is summarized,and the shortcomings of the corresponding algorithm are expounded.The Chan algorithm and Taylor algorithm,which are the most classic TDOA positioning methods,are introduced in detail.Aiming at the lack of initial value of Taylor algorithm,a combination algorithm of improved particle swarm algorithm and Taylor algorithm is designed.The performance of the Chan algorithm and the improved Taylor algorithm are analyzed separately.Then,in response to the trajectory tracking problem of airplanes and cars in the airport scene,based on the TDOA nonlinear positioning model,particle filtering technology was adopted,and the tracking failure caused by sample shortage in the later stage of particle filtering was used to design improved particle swarm fusion particles Filtering algorithm.The performance of particle filtering and fusion filtering is analyzed.Finally,the calculation equation of two-dimensional GDOP of MLAT system is introduced.The effects of the four standard geometric layout stations on GDOP were analyzed.Different from the traditional complete engineering practice of station placement,a GDOP-based evaluation index was proposed to optimize the station placement scheme,and the station performance was simulated and analyzed.
