The advancement and popularity of digital technology has provided technical support for the advancement of industrial systems.Traditional monitoring rooms have gradually been replaced by monitoring rooms controlled by digital systems,which has changed the monitoring tasks of operators.Therefore,it is of great significance to explore the audiovisual performance of digital monitoring operations.At present,there are preliminary explorations on the influencing factors of audiovisual performance in monitoring operations at home and abroad,but the research is not deep enough,lack of research on environmental factors,as well as experimental verification.This article uses experimental research methods to try to explore the effect of background music and noise on the visual and auditory performance of monitoring operations,which has certain theoretical and practical significance for improving the visual and auditory performance of monitoring operations and enhancing the human factor reliability of monitoring operations.The operation tasks of monitoring operations are mainly known through two visual and auditory sensory channels.When monitoring the interface,the operator may not be able to respond quickly to visual and auditory abnormal signals due to inattention,that is,vision and auditory mistake.Therefore,in this study we designed three experiments on the visual performance,auditory performance,and audiovisual performance of monitoring tasks.Four behavioral indicators were selected:visual accuracy rate,visual response time,auditory accuracy rate,and auditory response time.By controlling the experimental conditions(background music,noise),we use equipment to obtain experimental data and SPSS software is used to analyze and process experimental data.Then we get the following conclusions:(1)In a separate visual experiment,empirical analysis results show that fast-paced background music has a significant positive impact on the visual accuracy of monitoring tasks;fast-paced background music and noise have significant differences in the visual accuracy of monitoring operations;(2)In a separate auditory experiment,empirical analysis results show that noise has a significant negative impact on the auditory accuracy,there is a significant difference in the auditory accuracy of background music and noise,specifically fast-paced and slow-paced background music has a significant negative effect on auditory accuracy;there is a significant difference in the auditory response time of background music and noise,specifically slow-paced background music and noise have a significant negative effect on auditory response time;(3)In audio-visual interaction experiment,empirical analysis results show that fast-paced background music has a significant positive effect on visual accuracy;noise has a significant negative effect on visual accuracy,visual response time and auditory accuracy;background music has a significant negative effect on visual response time;background music has a significant positive effect on auditory accuracy;(4)Combined with the results of the experimental analysis,measures and suggestions for improving the audiovisual performance of monitoring operations are put forward in terms of improving the working environment,rationally scheduling work and rest tasks,arranging suitable jobs,and improving the personal quality of the monitoring operators.
