Based on the urban ecological security pattern and the construction of forest green networks in the Guanzhong region, this paper used MSPA,landscape connectivity, and minimum resistance models to analyze the spatial-temporal changes of the forest landscape pattern under the background of urbanization in the region from 2000 to 2015.First,the core area of forest landscape in Guanzhong area was extracted through MSPA(morphological analysis),and the forest patches with an area larger than 1 square kilometer were extracted as the core area by using GIS.Then, these forest patches were analyzed by Confer and Guidostollbox. The analysis process set different thresholds and used the IIC(integral index of connectivity)and PC(probability index of connectivity)landscape connectivity index to analyze the forest landscape connectivity in the Guanzhong region, and to clarify the relationship between forest landscape pattern changes and urbanization. The conclusion is that The suitable range of the forest connectivity threshold during exit is 10 kilometers. Finally, the minimum resistance surface was repaired based on the night light data, and the optimal connection path between the forests and towns in Guanzhong was simulated by the minimum resistance model, and the correction was made with reference to the landscape connectivity index. At the same time, the green network of the Guanzhong region has been established by combining the overall planning of the Guanzhong Plain urban agglomeration, the scope of activities of specific representative species, and the red line of ecological protection in Shaanxi Province.Research indicates:(1)During the entire research period, the urbanization rate increased fastest from 2005 to 2010,with the largest increase in urban and rural construction land. The area of urban and rural construction land in Xi’an increased the most during each period. The increase of urban and rural construction land mainly came from grasslands, arable land, waters, and unused land.Generally speaking, the increase in urban and rural construction land was centered on the central urban area and spread radially outward(2)The large-sized and medium-sized forest landscape patches selected from the forest landscape ecological sources in the Guanzhong area based on the MSPA model are greatly affected by urbanization. This shows that small-area forest landscape patches are susceptible to urbanization development, which in turn affects the connectivity between forest landscapes throughout the region.(3)According to the analysis of landscape connectivity index,it is concluded that the optimal connection threshold range of forest landscape in Guanzhong region is 5 kilometer to 35 kilometer. With reference to the activity range of specific representative species in Guanzhong, the 10 kilometer connection threshold distance is most suitable.(4)The resistance surface was modified based on the night light data, and the impact of human activities on different land use types was scientifically quantified, which made the construction of the resistance surface more scientific.(5)Based on the model of least resistance, the green forest network in Guanzhong in 2015 was used to build a forest green network to improve the connectivity of the forest landscape and serve as a green barrier to control the expansion of urban land in Guanzhong.Using the ecological bottom-line thinking in land and space planning to provide a coupling idea for urban development and ecological environmental protection in the Guanzhong region.
