Rapid urbanization has led to many urban ecological and environmental problems,and blue-green Infrastructure(BGI)provides a comprehensive solution for this problem.However,existing studies have paid less attention to the identification and construction of BGI in plain river network region.Based on connectivity,this study identifies the relatively important blue-green corridors,which pay more attention to the"blue"river elements than the current relevant planning,and the BGI construction method integrating water system connectivity evaluation has practical guiding significance for the scientific planning and management of blue-green spaces in plain river network region.Taking Jiaxing of Zhejiang Province as the research area,this study explored how to convert the evaluation results of the water system connectivity into a cost resistance surface and to incorporate it into the identification and construction of BGI.The outcomes could adapt the BGI construction methods and technologies in the context of the plain river network region.This study identified the potential BGI in Jiaxing based on the morphological spatial pattern analysis(MSPA),evaluation of water system connectivity,as well as using Minimum Cumulative Resistance Model(MCR),finally formed the Jiaxing BGI network system consisting of three levels of blue-green corridors and two levels of blue-green sources,and proposed strategies to ensure the implementation of BGI in Jiaxing by formulating hierarchical management measures for sources and corridors and coordinating the multiple functions of BGI at different levels.The conclusions are as follows:(1)The total area of core patch of Jiaxing is118573.2hm~2,the western part is fragmented while the rest of the area is contiguously distributed,and mainly consists of wetlands,arable land and waters,accounting for 29.42%;(2)The area with the strongest water system connectivity is the backbone water system in the central city,which is connected by the Nanjiao River,Beijiao River,Donghuan River and the Beijing-Hangzhou Ancient Canal(Jiaxing section),and diverges outward from the center;(3)The research results show that blue water corridors account for more than 2/3 of the total length of the primary and secondary corridors,and water corridors play a major role in the structural connection of BGI network in Jiaxing.
