Italy is a country with a very rich historical heritage.Research and practice on heritage conservation are at the forefront of the world.At the same time,Ital y also has a large number of research and projects on the renovation,addition,new construction and other architectural heritage of historical city buildings.Most of these projects are in a rich historical background,and they also have very ri ch experience in the integration of this part of the "new" and "old" architectural heritage in Italy.At present,China has passed the stage of large-scale constructio n,and the country has turned to the field of architectural renewal.The process i s similar to the experience of Western countries in the last century.China’s desig n methods for the renewal of architectural heritage are different,and the attitude towards historical buildings is often based on complete preservation.This approac h often loses most of the function and meaning of the original building itself,a nd the design methods based on the combination of the "new" and "old" are les s applied,and there are also a large number of new activities that directly erase the architectural heritage for new construction The consequences of severely destr oying historical patterns are enormous.The research hopes to lay a foundation for the research field of Chinese arc hitectural heritage renewal by sorting and analyzing the modern Italian “historical reading and writing”(Riscrittura)architectural heritage renewal ideas.The study begins with an interpretation of Italy’s "Riscrittura" architectural heritage renewal ideas,discussing the rationale of its concept and the rationality of Chinese translation;Secondly,with the modern architecture movement as the main line,the res earch on typical cases in the art movement,rationalism,post-war period,etc.wa s carried out,and the changes in the updated " Riscrittura" methods were interpr eted,including the relationship between the elaboration of the " Riscrittura" thou ght and traditional protection principles,and the influence of Brandi’s theory and the Venice Charter on it.The research focuses on sorting out the two main lines of modern "Riscrittura" updates,including the type from La Tendenza school an d the layered " Riscrittura" of practical architects,and interprets its key figures,including Aldo Rossi,Carlo Aymonino,George Grassi,Carlo Scarpa,Renzo Pian o,etc.The study concludes with a summary of the Italian modern “reading” and“writing” renovation methods.Based on the Italian experience,the research disc usses the problems related to the renovation of our country’s heritage and propos es improvement measures in order to provide theoretical and practical reference f or the current renovation of urban and rural heritage in our country.
