In the process of urbanization,the architectural engineering industry is still one of the pillar industries in national economy.In large construction project,accidents often occur,causing great casualties and economic losses,which has a negative impact on social stability and economic development.After studying the accidents of construction projects,it is found that different types of accidents have different causation mechanism.What's more,according to the annual accident statistics,falling accidents frequently occur,causing the most casualties.Therefore,researching the causation mechanism and developing strategies for security control are of great significance for reducing falling accidents occurrence and improving architectural engineering safety management in China.This paper first analyzes and summarizes the types and characteristics of falling accidents based on the classic accident causation model and catastrophe theory.Taking 142 falling accident investigation reports as the first-hand information,this paper extracts 19 causation factors.After further studying these causation factors,it is concluded that human factors and management factors are the main causation factors of accidents.In ordinary accidents,the human factor is more critical,and the objective factor is more critical in major or above accidents.Using ISM to study the causation factor structure of falling accident,it is found that its structure has good consistency with frequency statistics,which contributes to concluding that the administrative supervision and illegal contract are the basic causes for accident occurring.This paper also extracts the most frequent accident causation chain and analyzes it by using the improved safety rheology-mutation theory,the improved theory divides accident occurrence into five stages: incubation,turbulence,stimulation,mutation and rectification,the analysis result shows that the accident state change between rheology and mutation in construction site,and it is always in turbulence stage,danger exists but no accident occurs.Studying the rheological process of falling accident under safety intervention,it is found that continuous safety intervention measures can avoid or reduce the occurrence of fall accidents.Applying the point mutation model to study the mutation mechanism,this paper selects human factors and objective factors as control variables,drawing the conclusion that falling accident occurrence is due to human unsafe state coupling with objective unsafe state in time and place,and the objective unsafe state determines the height of the jump.In addition,the potential function curve of the sharp point mutation model is drawn,which depicts the three states,safety,danger,and accident,of the system.Develop corresponding control strategies for each stage in the rheological process of falling accident,and provide references for government departments and enterprise managers to conduct construction project safety management and reduce falling accidents and other accident occurrence.
