Study On The Renewal Of Traditional Ganlan Dwellings In Northern Guangxi From The Perspective Of Tourism Industry

Traditional ethnic villages have undergone the baptism of time and contain splendid cultural heritage,with the impact of urbanization on cities and villages,traditional villages and dwellings are also facing unprecedented challenges.In this context,the adjustment of industrial structure and the development of village tourism bring new development opportunities to the dwellings in distress.The tourism resources in the mountainous area of Northern Guangxi are richly endowed by nature.As an important space for village residents’ life,the ganlan houses with ethnic customs and regional characteristics are also an important carrier for village tourism activities.With the continuous development of the local tourism industry,the ganlan dwellings are undergoing transformation and adaptability updating.However,due to the lack of scientific and reasonable guidance,most villages are still in blind exploration.Therefore,the renewal of traditional ganlan houses is not only an urgent demand for the industrial transformation and development of Northern Guangxi,but also has practical significance for the protection and continuation of regional national culture.From the perspective of tourism demand,this paper discusses the renewal design method of traditional ganlan houses in Northern Guangxi and provides ideas for the protection and development of ganlan houses.Firstly,through literature collection and field visits,this paper sums up the general situation of tourism development in the mountainous area of Northern Guangxi from threeaspects: the general situation,the advantage of local tourism resources and the current situation of tourism development.Secondly,according to the research of material,this paper sorts out the update status quo and its existing deficiencies from the level of settlement and dwelling houses.Through the comparative study with the prototype,this paper summarizes the renewal impact factors of ganlan houses under the influence of tourism,namely the problems caused by different influence subjects of the government,tourism companies,tourists and villagers.Then it puts forward five design principles: adapting to the development of tourism industry,paying attention to the continuation of regional culture,meeting the needs of users,using materials and technology reasonably,pursuing green and sustainable development,and three renewal design points: orderly planning of external space environment,reasonable organization of new and old material structure,and organic consideration of spatial design organization.Finally,on the basis of this theory,this paper puts forward the renewal design methods of ganlan settlement in four aspects: space composition,tourism facilities,land use planning and landscape pattern;and five renewal design methods of ganlan houses in functional space,internal structure,enclosure structure,detail decoration and building service system.In addition,considering the demands of the two groups of foreign tourists and indigenous people,the paper carries out the renewal design of the functional space;combined with a renewal practice case participated by the author,it discusses the renewal method of the use mode of the functional space.It is hoped to provide references for the transformation and renewal of settlements and dwellings in other regions by exploring the renewal mode of traditional stilt houses in Northern Guangxi to adapt to local tourism development.
