As an interconnection device for transmitting electrical energy and transmitting signals in the system,electrical connectors are widely used in various aerospace systems and instruments.In the fault detection of electrical connectors in recent years,due to the concealment of the electrical connector shrinkage is difficult to find,so the proportion of shrinkage occurrence is increasing,which has a serious impact on the normal operation of the system and personnel safety.At present,the common method for detecting the shrinkage of electrical connectors is manual visual inspection.This detection method has low efficiency,high false detection rate and high miss detection rate.Therefore,this paper studies the automatic detection technology of shrinkage of electrical connectors.This paper presents the overall design of an automatic connector pin shrinkage detection system,which mainly includes three parts: visual measurement module,pin shrinkage detection module and host computer software.In the system design,the UG software was used to model the mechanical structure of the system in three dimensions,and combined with the software development needs of the host computer,the host computer software was compiled using the Visual Studio compilation platform using VB.Net.The position detection algorithm of the electrical connector was studied.First,the image of the electrical connector collected by the camera is preprocessed to obtain an image that is convenient for pin identification,and then the pin in the image is identified and marked by Hough transform.By conducting pin identification experiments on three different types of electrical connectors,22-pin,31-pin and 53-pin,the results can accurately identify and mark the pins,and there is no missing or wrong detection.Afterwards,the pixel coordinates of the pin were extracted,and finally it was unified to the standard coordinate system specified by the national standard by solving the rotation angle.In addition,using the standard ruler as the calibration workpiece,the pixel equivalent was calculated by the least square method,and the calibration of the system was completed.The related technical principles of displacement sensors in pin shrinkage detection are studied and analyzed.The structures and principles of potentiometer displacement sensors,capacitive displacement sensors and inductive displacement sensors are analyzed in detail.The characteristics and applications are compared and analyzed.Finally,through comparison,it is determined that the design needs to be completed based on the LVDT sensor to complete the detection of shrinkage.Finally,according to the overall design plan,the needle shrinkage detection platform was built.Coordinated with the host computer software,it completed the debugging of functions such as image acquisition,image processing,pin identification,pin coordinate output and slide motion control,and reached the expected design requirements.The source of error of the system is also analyzed,and the uncertainty of the pin position identification standard is synthesized according to the relevant criteria of uncertainty synthesis.The final result is 0.0655 mm,which satisfies the measurement requirements for pin shrinkage detection.
