Ships sailing in the ice area will inevitably collide with the ice.Serious collision will cause great damage to ship structure and power system,such as ship hull and propulsion system,and seriously threaten the life safety of crew members.In particular,China’s northern Bohai sea,every winter,the sea surface will be floating a large number of sea ice,a large number of sea ice will be on the ship’s navigation and the sea surface also writing activities have a very big impact.Therefore,it is of pract ical significance to study the collision between ice and ship’s side structure and the strengthening measures of ship’s side anti-ice collision ability.In this paper,the finite element analysis software ABAQUS is used to simulate the collision situation between ship side structure and ice.The relationship between acceleration and collision time is obtained by simulating the collision between wedge ice and hull plate.On this basis,this paper continues to study the impact of different collision factors on the collision between ice blocks and ship hull slabs.Different collision factors include collision speed,collision Angle,shape of collision contact surface and size of ice,so as to further strengthen the skilled use of finite element analysis software and obtain certain conclusions.In order to further study the ship side structure and the ice of the collision,after studying the different impact factors on the ice and double hull plate collision impact,on the basis of studying the different impact velocity and impact Angle of single piece of ice and ship collision,the influence of side structure analysis compares the collision process,the maximum stress and maximum deformation and the change of internal energy,reveals the changes of impact velocit y and impact Angle,the maximum stress,maximum deformation,displacement and the influence of internal energy obtained qualitatively the impact of these factors on the collision.This paper studies the impact of different collision speeds and collision angles on the collision of two pieces of ice with the ship’s side structure.In this paper,the measures to strengthen the ship’s side anti-ice collision abilit y are discussed.By studying the collision between the ship’s side structure and ice,it is concluded that the ship’s side structure with transverse frame and longitudinal frame has good crashworthiness,which means that the ship’s side anti-ice collision ability can be improved by changing the structure reasonably.A kind of anti-collision structure which is installed in the area where collision may occur on the ship side is put forward.The research in this paper has certain practical significance for ships sailing in the ice area,and provides a new idea for the improvement of the anti-ice impact ability of the side structure of ships sailing in the ice area.
