Ice and snow building materials have unique advantages such as easy to use local materials,environmental friendliness,sustainable development and aesthetic effect,and have great application potential in cold areas.However,its low strength and traditional construction methods greatly limit the height,span and form of ice snow structure.The mechanical properties of composite ice materials can be improved significantly by adding a certain amount of reinforced fibers to the common ice.At present,some scholars are gradually exploring the basic mechanical properties of composite ice materials,such as compression and tension,and making the ice materials in the field of ice and snow construction have been preliminarily applied.On the one hand,with the development of long-span ice shell,the building shape is more and more complex,and the structure span is more and more large.In the actual process,it may be necessary to strengthen the ice shell structure locally.On the other hand,with the development of assembly technology,the assembly of ice structure has a broad prospect.Ice beam,ice column,ice plate and other basic components can be used as local reinforcement measures,but also the basis of assembly development,so it is very necessary to study the components.In view of the lack of research on the performance of ice beam under bending,this paper takes the ice beam component as the research object,including the pure ice beam,the composite ice beam,the bamboo reinforced pure ice beam and the bamboo reinforced composite ice beam in four forms.Through the test and the limited element method,the failure form,failure mechanism and bearing capacity of the ice beam under bending are explored Performance,etc.In order to ensure the accuracy of the test,the characteristics of bamboo are considered in the design of the test,and the position of the chuck is specially treated.At the same time,the exact placement method of bamboo bars in the ice beam during the experiment is explored.The four-point bending test of ice beam is designed and completed.The failure modes,failure mechanism and bearing capacity of pure ice beams and composite ice beams with bamboo bar diameter at different temperatures were studied.Based on the basic principle of plane section assumption and experimental phenomenon,the bearing capacity of ice beam and reinforced ice beam is analyzed and the preliminary calculation formula is given.The finite element method is used for numerical study.The corresponding relationship between the analytical model and the test results is established.The influence of the temperature,the position of the bamboo pole,the diameter of the bamboo pole and the reinforcement coefficient caused by the change of the number of the bamboo pole on the bearing capacity of the strengthened ice beam is studied.The results show that the use of bamboo bars not only improves the bearing capacity of the ice beam,but also changes its failure mode.The preliminary study of the composite ice material reinforced by bamboo bars provides the basis and possibility for the further development of ice and snow construction field.
