Most of the ship cabins are relatively low and without portholes,resulting in the indoor natural ventilation is not smooth,easy to gather harmful gases and other pollutants,which has a great impact on the physical and mental health of cabin personnel.At present,the research on air distribution in ship cabin mainly focuses on thermal comfort.In this paper,the air distribution in ship cabin is mainly studied to improve the contaminant removing capability of ship cabin under the condition of thermal comfort.Make ship cabin air quality and thermal comfort at the same time,create a good ship cabin air environment,improve the comfort of the ship.In this paper,by using Airpak software,based on computational fluid dynamics,heat transfer theory,taking the indoor zero equation model of turbulence model,based on the finite volume method,the discretization of control equation and the flow field calculation method based on SIMPLE algorithm,the numerical simulation of the air distribution in the ship cabin is carried out.According to the calculation results,the factors affecting the comfort of the ship are analyzed and discussed.The main research work of this paper is as follows:(1)This paper discusses the problems existing in the comfort of ship cabin and the necessity of the research on the comfort of ship cabin.The research status of air distribution and its application in ship comfort at home and abroad are summarized.(2)This paper briefly describes the computational fluid dynamics,heat transfer theory,turbulence model,thermal comfort evaluation index and air quality evaluation index of air distribution used in this paper(3)The numerical simulation was carried out with Airpak software,and the numerical simulation results were compared with the experimental results in the literature,which verified the correctness of the method of studying indoor air distribution thermal comfort and air quality.(4)Taking the two person living cabin of a large ship as an example,this paper studies the influence of different air supply forms and conditions on the comfort of air distribution and blowdown capacity of the cabin.According to the research and analysis of the speed field,temperature field,humidity field,concentration field,thermal comfort evaluation index and contaminant removing capability evaluation standard of air distribution in the main activity area during the rest,the air distribution scheme is carried out The optimal air supply scheme for the cabin of the ship is obtained.After finishing the research work,this paper draws the conclusion:(1)Through research and comparison of four different air supply forms,the air supply forms of S2 as air supply outlet,O1 and O2 as air return,which not only meet the requirements of thermal comfort of ship cabin,but also improve the contaminant removing capability of ship.(2)In a certain range,the change of air supply conditions has a great influence on the thermal comfort and contaminant removing capability of the ship cabin.The air supply temperature has a great influence on the temperature distribution of the air distribution in the cabin,but a little influence on the distribution of wind speed,humidity and the blowdown capacity of the cabin;the air supply speed has a significant influence on the temperature,speed distribution and blowdown capacity of the air distribution in the cabin,but a little influence on the humidity distribution;the air supply humidity has a significant influence on the humidity distribution of the air distribution in the cabin,and other influences are basic negligible.(3)In some special cases,when the air supply temperature is 21.0 ℃,the air supply speed is 2.0m/s,and the relative humidity of the air supply is 55% or 65%,the formaldehyde concentration in the main activity area during the rest will surge,which is 70 to 140 times of other working conditions.(4)When the temperature of air supply is 22.0 ℃,the speed of air supply is 3.0m/s and the relative humidity of air supply is 55%,it not only meets the thermal comfort evaluation index of the ship,but also has the best contaminant removing capability.
