Wave is the main purpose of breakwater,protection of port construction and traditional breakwater of ships is composed of concrete pile up,the cost of the breakwater and the difficulty will increase because of the depth of the water increases rapidly,but not floating breakwater due to the depth of the water increases the difficulty and cost,and floating breakwater won't affect the water environment safety,so that the floating breakwater is more and more attention of floating breakwater can differ because of its structure and hydrodynamic performance have a large gap,so designing a wave performance and various kinds of hydrodynamic performance good floating breakwater structure is necessary.This paper analyzes the wave dissipation mechanism of the floating breakwater.Based on the square box floating breakwater,two new structures of the floating breakwater are designed,and ANSYS-AQWA is used to analyze and compare the different anchor chain arrangement,and a better anchor chain arrangement is obtained.The influence of wave height and period is studied by numerical simulation of stress and transmission coefficient of three structures.The hydrodynamic performance of the new floating breakwater is analyzed by comparing the calculation results of the three structures.Finally,the connection mode between the floating breakwater monomer was designed,and the numerical simulation was used to analyze the connection between the anchor chain and the ball force,so as to evaluate its safety.Results show that when the cable arrangement of parallel type,mooring system is the most safe,but the motion response of floating breakwater is larger cable force and floating body motion response will increase with the increase of wave height and period,foam floating breakwater and the motion response of cable force,the biggest spike type cable force and motion response of the floating breakwater minimum transmission coefficient of three kinds of floating breakwater will increase with the increase of wave height and period,in the short period wave,box type floating breakwater transmission coefficient is 0.788;The transmission coefficient of the nail-shaped floating breakwater is 0.44,which is 44% lower than that of the square box floating breakwater.The transmittance of bubble floating breakwater is 0.378,which is 52% lower than that of square box floating breakwater.Moreover,when the wave angles are 45 and 135,the connection mode bears the maximum force,which is a dangerous condition.When the wave Angle is 90,the connection mode bears the minimum force,which is a safe working condition.
