Leizhou area is located in the southwest of Guangdong Province,at the intersection of Guangdong,Guangxi and Hainan,known as "the most important place in the south of the sky".Its regional culture has shaped the local unique village settlement form and the unique residential building form.However,Leizhou area is currently a relatively backward area in the economic development of Guangdong Province.With the rapid development of modern economy,the traditional residential buildings are facing serious problems such as waste,shelving and demolition.Therefore,for the record and protection of the traditional residential buildings in Leizhou area,as well as for its region The study of culture,construction features,scaling rule and other aspects is particularly important.The traditional architecture in Leizhou is the most direct and concrete material carrier for the natural environment,history,culture and social economy of the area,including temple building,hospitable building,blockhouse,residential building,etc.At present,the research results of traditional architecture in Leizhou area are mainly concentrated on the village level,few of which take the single building as the research object,and the research on traditional village hospitable building in Leizhou area has not been carried out yet.Therefore,this paper studies the hospitable building of traditional village in Leizhou area as the research object,which is the first attempt to study the traditional residential architecture in Leizhou area ?Through the on-the-spot investigation,mapping and analysis of the the hospitable building of traditional village in Leizhou area,combined with the reading of literature,combing its important historical information and development context,mastering its preservation status,using typology and other methods,this paper classifies the plane of the hospitable building of traditional village in Leizhou area,and analyzes its plane form features,elevation features,section structure features,and hospitable building's Based on the interviews with local craftsmen,the collection of relevant documents and the analysis of Surveying and mapping data,this paper reconstructs the construction scale of the hospitable building of traditional village in Leizhou area,studies the scale relations of its width,depth and height,and then summarizes the construction characteristics and scaling rule of the hospitable building of traditional village in this area In the future,further research and protection of traditional residential
