Research On The Historical Remains And Cultural Value Of Jewish Architecture In Harbin

The Jewish community in Harbin was established in the second wave of Jewish immigrants to Northeast China.The Jews who immigrated to Russia were mainly Russian Jews,whose purpose of immigrating was not a commercial motive,nor was it influenced by the factors of war,but was caused by the large-scale anti Semitic wave initiated by Europe and rapidly set off in Russia since the 1880 s.As the most suitable "paradise" for Jewish immigrants,Harbin built the most dynamic and largest Jewish community in modern China and even in the Far East.From the early years of the 20 th century to the 1960 s,the Jews living in Harbin not only built complete communities,religious institutions,educational institutions,welfare institutions and Zionist organizations,but also established medical institutions,shops and art schools that benefited the citizens of Harbin,making indelible contributions to the development of the city,It fully shows that the spiritual unity of the Jewish people is a sword to overcome all difficulties.This paper describes the origin of the Jews in Harbin and their political,economic and cultural activities in Harbin.It mainly starts with the cultural value of the Jewish architectural remains in Harbin and their contributions to the economic development and urban construction of Harbin at that time.It also discusses the reuse and repair of the Jewish architectural remains in Harbin.Firstly,this paper studies the construction history,social background,cultural value and influence of Jewish and their architectural remains in Harbin,and then analyzes its value in all aspects through the investigation and analysis of the actual situation and literature research,so as to fully demonstrate the reuse and repair protection.Finally,through the study of Jewish architectural remains in Harbin,it provides a theoretical basis for the protection of urban cultural diversity in Harbin.Through the analysis and research of this topic,we hope to let more people understand the rich history and culture of Harbin,show the unique architectural art of Harbin to the world,and contribute to the long-term friendship between the Chinese nation and the Jewish nation.
