Combined with the research status of doubly salient pole motor and bias flux motor by domestic and foreign scholars,this paper analyzes the inconvenience of manufacturing,installation and transportation of the existing large-scale motor,and proposes a modular single stator bias flux permanent magnet motor.In order to further solve the problem of stator magnetic saturation,a modularized double stator bias flux permanent magnet motor is proposed.The permanent magnet and armature winding are separated on different stators,which alleviates the stator magnetic saturation and makes it have good reliability and heat dissipation performance.In this paper,modular machine with bias flux is taken as the research object,including modular single stator bias flux permanent magnet motor and modular double stator bias flux permanent magnet motor.Both motors have bias flux characteristics,which can be used to adjust the magnetic field flexibly by applying different polarity DC current.At the same time,they have both similarities and differences in structure.The same thing is that both of them adopt modular stator structure design,which simplifies the motor structure and solves the problem of assembly difficulty.The difference is that the modular single stator bias flux permanent magnet motor adopts a single stator structure.The permanent magnet and armature winding are placed on the same stator,which is easy to cause irreversible demagnetization of the permanent magnet at high temperature,thus reducing the reliability of the motor.The modular double stator bias flux permanent magnet motor adopts the double stator structure,which effectively separates the armature winding from the permanent magnet,alleviates the stator magnetic saturation,and improves the heat dissipation ability and reliability of the motor.The research contents of this paper are summarized as follows:(1)Based on the research of the structure characteristics and working principle of the bias flux motor,the paper analyzes the topological structure and working principle of the modular single stator bias flux permanent magnet motor and the modular double stator bias flux permanent magnet motor,and uses the magneticcircuit method to make a reasonable electromagnetic design scheme of the motor.(2)In order to optimize the performance of the modular single stator bias flux permanent magnet motor,the motor is optimized by the combination of genetic algorithm and finite element method,and the electromagnetic performance and thermal performance of the optimized motor are simulated,verified and analyzed.(3)Considering the large cogging torque of the modular double stator bias flux permanent magnet motor,five kinds of cogging torque optimization schemes are adopted based on the generation principle of the cogging torque of the motor,and qualitative and quantitative analysis is made on the influence of each method on the cogging torque and electromagnetic torque.Then,the non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm with elite strategy and the finite element method are used to optimize the motor,and the performance of the optimized motor is analyzed and compared.
