Geogrid is one of the most widely used geosynthetic materials.On the one hand,it has the advantages of high strength,low elongation,and strong stability.On the other hand,the geogrid and the soil body have strong interaction forces,so it has been used as The first choice for reinforced materials.In this paper,the geogrid-reinforced embankment slope is used as the research object,and the large-scale finite element analysis software ABAQUS is used as a tool.First,the geogridreinforced embankment slope with different slope ratio,embankment height,reinforced spacing an d reinforcement length A comparative analysis of the stability of the system is carried out,and the n a sensitivity analysis of the safety factors of these four factors with respect to the reinforced slope is made.The main work of this article includes:(1)Briefly introduce the geogrid,and elaborate on its structure,mechanical characteristics,strength characteristics under long-term load and construction characteristics.To classify the reinforcement mechanism of reinforced embankment,it includes: quasi cohesion principle,friction reinforcement mechanism,equivalent confining pressure principle,tension membrane theory.(2)Summarize the calculation method of reinforced embankment,which includes: the algorit hm of considering the reinforcement and soil separately,the overall consideration of the reinforcem ent and the equivalent confining pressure method,and the summary of the test method for the stud y of the interface characteristics of the reinforcement: direct shear Test and pull test.(3)Introduce the principle of finite element analysis and give an overview of the largescale finite element analysis software ABAQUS,and then introduce the concept of strength reducti on method to reinforce the embankment sides with different slope ratios,embankment heights,and reinforcement spacing and reinforcement length The stability of the slope is numerically analyzed,and the sensitivity of the four factors to the safety factor of the reinforced embankment slope is co mpared.Finally,suggestions for improving the stability of the reinforced embankment slope are pr oposed.
