Investigation On The Current Situation Of Construction And Environment Of The Yubei Cotton Textile Factory In Anyang,Henan

Formerly known as Guang Yi Sha Chang in Qing Dynasty,Yubei Cotton Textile Factory is a modern textile industry remains located at north northwest of Anyang,Henan.Being the earliest textile machinery factory in mainland China,with its history began in the late Qing dynasty to the modern times and its transformation from industrial entity to industrial heritage,Yubei Cotton Textile Factory can be an important witness and representative of the whole process from the germination,the development to the transformation for the textile industry and even all the industry from modern to contemporary in Anyang and even the whole China.It is also the important industrial heritage in Anyang and even China,as well as the witness of Anyang's modernization process,the important urban heritage of Anyang.In addition,Yubei Cotton Textile Factory is also located in Yin ruins site scope.Adjacent to the three main sites of Yin ruins,it is also an integral part of the Yin ruins site and its authenticity.Yubei Cotton Textile Factory has been bankrupt and shut down,leaving behind hectares of land,87,000 square meters of industrial production room,and 10,000 square meters of residential and other buildings.At the time of the 90 th anniversary of the archaeology of Yin ruins and the 120 th anniversary of the discovery of the origin of Chinese characters on oracle bones,and at the new stage of the construction and development of the Anyang Yin ruins national archaeological site park,the Yubei Cotton Textile Factory located at the center of the park is facing new opportunities and challenges,which should be another important turning point in its life.Based on the current situation of Yubei Cotton Textile Factory and its environment,the thesis hopes to clearly understand the double heritage value between the industrial heritage and part of the Yin ruins cultural heritage through the research of its general situation,external environment,internal composition and specific conditions of the main components,specially the collecting and drawing of the main remaining objects with its history and current situation,equipment and process,and construction technical drawings.The thesis also makes a reasonable evaluation of the value and current situation that affirms the orientation of its industrial heritage with great historical value,and provides principled opinions and Suggestions for the preservation and protection of the industrial heritage combined with its value and status quo evaluation as well as strategies and suggestions for updating and reusing methods Combine the basic data and analysis conclusion provided above.
